Honest

After graduating from The London College of Printing Paul worked for London branding agencies: Enterprise IG and The Partners. Paul’s background is in brand identity and he has worked on a variety of brands from luxury brands: Alfred Dunhill and Tanner Krolle to leisure brands: Haven Holidays and Go Ape.

Paul has spent time ‘down under’ working on the Telstra Telecommunications account in Melbourne at Singleton Ogilvy & Mather. In 2000 he worked in Madrid for the Spanish branding agency Addison España then returned to England in 2001. Paul joined design agency Flag, then advertising agency Ware Anthony Rust where he worked with Nick Mellor for 6 years before setting up Honest.

After studying advertising at Newcastle College, Nick has spent the past fifteen years as a Senior Art Director working on TV commercials, radio, press, posters and direct marketing and online advertising campaigns.

Nick had previously worked with Paul Flower for six years at Ware Anthony Rust before deciding to set up their own company, ‘Honest’, in 2008. He wanted to get more hands on with the client, building up strong relationships in order to gain a tighter control over the work and make it more compelling and effective.

Gareth is passionate about all things ‘Web’. Having worked for a number of London agencies previously as a senior developer, he has been exposed to several high profile clients including Barclays, Virgin Media, G4S and Premier League. A key understanding of accessibility, search engine optimisation and usability enables him to work alongside design with the end user in mind.

Gareth is a huge fan of rugby, so much so that when he lived in London he bought a house in Twickenham. He has just returned from New Zealand where he followed Wales in the 2011 Rugby World Cup.

Paul has been developing online communities for clients: B&Q, BBC, Daily Mirror, E.ON, Hachette Filipacchi, RS Components, Tesco and UBM. Paul has also spent time developing the functionality for online surveys for major UK clients including Ann Summers, Barclaycard, BT, New Look, and Sky.

Paul has played classical guitar for roughly 10 years and likes to integrate his music with computers, both producing music digitally, and editing and mixing recordings.
