After studying advertising at Newcastle College, Nick has spent the past thirteen years as a Senior Art Director working on tv commercials, radio, press, posters and direct marketing and more recently, online campaigns.

Nick and Paul Flower, who had previously worked together for six years at Ware Anthony Rust, decided to set up their own company, ‘Honest’ in 2008.
Nick wanted to get more hands on with the client, building up strong relationships in order to gain a tighter control over the work and make it more compelling and effective.
He has also spent 18 months travelling the world from Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas to the top of Ayers Rock, Australia and is looking into South America for his next trip.
Nick’s passion for advertising and love of photography has seen some of his photographs exhibited across the UK. He can often be found in The National Portrait Gallery and has an ambition to exhibit a piece in the annual Photographic Portrait Prize.

After graduating from The London College of Printing in 1997, Paul began his career working as a Creative for London design agencies The Jenkins Group, Enterprise IG and The Partners.

Paul’s background is in brand identity design. He has worked on a variety of brands, from luxury brands such as Alfred Dunhill and Tanner Krolle, to leisure brands like Haven Holidays and more recently Go Ape.
At The Partners, he was part of a team working on the Australian national telecoms brand, Telstra. He spent two months ‘down under’ working on this account in Melbourne at the offices of Singleton Ogilvy & Mather, gaining valuable advertising agency experience as well as enjoying time on the beach.
Paul left London in 2000 to work for the Spanish branding agency Addison in Madrid. He enjoyed a new culture and a different approach to design before returning to England in 2001.
He joined design agency Flag and then advertising agency Ware Anthony Rust where he worked with Nick Mellor for 6 years before setting up Honest.

Ed Hope graduated from The University of Nottingham

with Distinction from the Business School.

Whilst completing his Masters Ed was the technical lead for a mobile application start-up company, Taptx. Developing mobile-to-web products using JavaME and PHP.
Recently he worked as a Technical Project Manager for Cambridge advertising agency Ware Anthony Rust, and lead a variety of web projects from emailers to Facebook applications through to intranet systems and Search Engine Optimisation campaigns.
As a developer Ed creates useable, accessible sites which adhere to the latest standards on the web.
Ed is a keen musician and songwriter with his work featuring in various independent films.
