In addition to monitoring and updating the Societys website on a regular basis, Honest have been developing other items of marketing collateral for the Aberdeen-Angus brand this year.
Aberdeen-Angus is recognised as one of the finest Beef Breeds in the world. The Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society invited Honest to create a sector leading website which would position them as the No1 Breed Society in the UK, convert non Aberdeen-Angus beef farmers and elevate the brand. Honest carried out a brand workshop with key Society members from which a project initiation document was signed up to. Honest then spent a day at the Society’s headquarters in Perth and at breeders farms in Scotland to get under the skin of the brand.
A customisable news driven hompage was developed together with a content management system that enabled the client to upload images and text with ease whilst on the move at shows and events.
Honest also evolved the brand icon, creating a distinctive roundel which acts as a premium quality endorsement across all forms of brand communication.
A key business objective of the Society was to convert Beef farmers from other breeds and educate potential new breeders to the benefits of breeding Aberdeen-Angus.
Honest developed an online advertising banner which focused on the commercial benefits of the Angus breed and not simply the high quality of the beef.
