Papworth Hospital is a world leading cardiothoracic hospital and the country’s main heart and lung transplant centre. It is also the largest of its kind in the UK. Papworth Hospital Charity helps raise funds to support the hospital’s pioneering work. The charity asked Honest to help them re-brand. They wanted an identity which gave equal presence to the areas of specialism for which Papworth Hospital is famous.
Honest spoke to the hospital staff, from nurses to surgeons. This dialogue produced an overwhelming conclusion: the staff are passionate about Papworth Hospital and the ground-breaking work they do.
A single-minded logo which is memorable and unquestionably Papworth was designed and a positioning line developed that captured its sense of community.







Papworth Hospital is one of the leading cardio respiratory hospitals in the UK and Papworth Hospital Charity exists to support their work. The Charity needed someone who was capable of understanding what we do, create a visible identity and work with us to carry our message across a wide range of very diverse media. We could not have hoped to work with an agency as talented, experienced and skilled as Honest. They immediately grasped what we were about and were able to translate that into something which we feel is a very exciting visualisation of both the Hospital and our work – and what’s more they made the whole experience enjoyable and fun.
We are looking forward to working with them in the future on a range of projects which will help Papworth Hospital Charity grow and develop – and also help many thousands of heart and lung patients across not only Great Britain but also the world.
