With summer in full swing and Wimbledon just days away, our creatives have had fun designing a set of tactical social media content for one of our long-standing clients, Plumbs’ Dairy.
Sustainable:
Plumbs Dairy, a family-run business, has been supplying fresh milk in reusable glass bottles to Cambridgeshire doorsteps since 1952. Each bottle can be re-used up to 30 times before it is recycled into a brand new glass bottle – a far better option than a single-use plastic!
To celebrate this, we did a bit of “Plumbs’ maths” and discovered that the amount of single-use plastic saved each week is conveniently equivalent to the weight of a fully grown dairy cow. And, over the course of a year, that grows to the weight of a whale! Sorry Humphrey – your 7 lives suddenly don’t seem as impressive!
Seasonal:
While reusable glass bottles help cut down on plastic, Plumbs aren’t just delivering a greener planet – they’re delivering summer too. During Wimbledon season, they’re dropping off around 80kg of fresh, local strawberries each week – perfect for armchair fans enjoying the tennis with a classic bowl of strawberries and cream.
