The brief

Like many companies, Contamac set up and accumulated multiple websites over the years. The original brief was to redesign and build a new website and for us to review their portfolio websites to see if they needed to be brought under one umbrella.

Our approach

After conducting an initial review, it became apparent that we needed to review their brand strategy to align the overarching corporate brand with their product brands. Each product group had it’s own look and feel but were targeting the same customers and weren’t utilising the strong Contamac identity.

The workshop resulted in us taking more of a ‘branded house’ approach for the business aligning their product brands to their corporate brand which we approached prior to redesigning and building their website.

We carried out a strategic review of the portfolio of websites prior to putting forward the recommendation for consolidation. We led with an SEO and redirect strategy to ensure all implementation was done correctly and no existing web equity was lost.
